Shipping & Returns
Last updated: 15 August 2026
Where we ship
We ship anywhere in Australia. We do not currently ship internationally.
Making your order
Almost everything we sell is made to order, so despatch is not immediate. We confirm the expected timeframe for your specific piece by email once your order is confirmed, and we will tell you if anything changes. If you need something by a particular date, tell us before you order and we will let you know honestly whether we can meet it.
Delivery cost
Delivery is charged at a flat rate, calculated and shown at checkout before you pay.
Tracking and receiving your order
We email you tracking details when your order is despatched. Boards are heavy and are packed accordingly; please check the parcel on arrival.
If something arrives damaged
If your order arrives damaged, contact us within a reasonable time and send photographs of the item and the packaging. We will arrange a repair, replacement or refund. Do not discard the packaging until the matter is resolved.
Returns — faulty, or not as described
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If an item is faulty, significantly different from its description, or does not do what we said it would, you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss. Contact us and we will sort it out — we cover return postage in these cases.
Returns — change of mind
Custom and made-to-order items cannot be returned for change of mind. That includes anything built to your dimensions, your choice of timber or edge profile, and anything engraved. These pieces are made for you and cannot be resold. This does not affect your rights above if the item is faulty or not as described.
For stocked items that are not made to order and not engraved, contact us. If the item is unused, unwashed and in its original condition we will do what we can, though we are not obliged to accept a change-of-mind return and any return postage would be yours.
What is not a fault
Variation in grain, figure and colour, and colour change over time, are natural characteristics of timber rather than defects — see About. Damage from dishwashers, soaking, or drying near direct heat is not covered, as it is contrary to the care instructions supplied with every board.
